Breast Cancer Reaching out to women (and men) who are battling breast cancer has always been one of our club'smain concerns. We annually contribute to Gretchen Dent's Comfort Caps program, use Breast Cancer stamps, and go to the link on the Breast Cancer to support women who cannot afford mammograms.Debby added a new level of support by volunteering to walk 39 miles (a marathon on one day and a half-marathon the next) the weekend of May 3-4 in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.Club members have generously written checks to support her and helped her team meet its $6,000 goal.Story Archive
